The Association was founded in 2012 by seven members who recognized the need for a dedicated platform to address pensioner grievances.
From its humble beginnings, the Association registered with the Registrar of Societies (Reg. No. 170/2012) and adopted a set of Bye-Laws. Over the past decade, proactive advocacy and dedicated service have drawn widespread participation. Today, our active membership exceeds 400 pensioners and family pensioners across the state.
To date, the Association has successfully convened 14 Annual General Body Meetings alongside regular Executive Committee sessions to formulate action plans. Through continuous dialogue with the TNPCB officials, we have successfully resolved numerous complex issues, to avoiding the delay in sanction of pension order, post-retirement benefit calculations. Additionally, given the critical nature of healthcare, we work closely with insurance providers to help members to obtain individual Health Insurance Cards and clear claim settlements without bottlenecks.
ஓய்வூதியதாரர்களின் குறைகளைப் போக்க ஒரு பிரத்யேக அமைப்பு தேவை என்பதை உணர்ந்து, 2012-ஆம் ஆண்டில் ஏழு நிறுவன உறுப்பினர்களால் இச்சங்கம் தொடங்கப்பட்டது.
சங்கங்களின் பதிவாளரிடம் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டு (பதிவு எண்: 170/2012), முறையான விதிகள் மற்றும் துணை விதிகளுடன் இது இயங்கத் தொடங்கியது. கடந்த பத்தாண்டுகளாக எங்களது தீவிரமான செயல்பாடுகள் மற்றும் அர்ப்பணிப்பு காரணமாக ஏராளமான ஓய்வூதியதாரர்கள் இதில் இணைந்தனர். இன்று மாநிலம் முழுவதும் 400-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட ஓய்வூதியதாரர்கள் மற்றும் குடும்ப ஓய்வூதியதாரர்கள் எங்களது சங்கத்தில் உறுப்பினர்களாக உள்ளனர்.
இதுவரை, உறுப்பினர்களின் முழு ஒத்துழைப்புடன் 14 ஆண்டு பொதுக்குழு கூட்டங்களையும், உத்திகளை வகுக்கப் பல செயற்குழு கூட்டங்களையும் சங்கம் வெற்றிகரமாக நடத்தியுள்ளது. TNPCB அதிகாரிகளுடனான தொடர் பேச்சுவார்த்தைகள் மூலம், ஓய்வூதிய ஆணை தாமதங்கள், ஓய்வூதிய பலன்கள் கணக்கீடு மற்றும் தொடர்பான பல சிக்கல்களுக்குத் தீர்வு காணப்பட்டுள்ளது. மேலும், மூத்த குடிமக்களுக்கு மருத்துவக் காப்பீடு மிக முக்கியம் என்பதால், உறுப்பினர்களுக்குத் தனிநபர் காப்பீட்டு அட்டைகளைப் பெற்றுத் தரவும், கோரிக்கைகளை விரைவாகச் தீர்க்கவும் காப்பீட்டு நிறுவனங்களுடன் சங்கம் தொடர்ந்து இணைந்து பணியாற்றி வருகிறது.
